Knowledge The resident will demonstrate an adequate knowledge of: 1) Public funding for mental health services. (3,4,7-9,12) 2) Five public programs that provide funding for children’s mental health services. (1-3) 3) Medicaid eligibility requirements in their state. (3,4,7-9,12) 4) CHIP program eligibility requirements in their state. (3,4,7-9,12) 5) SAMHSA contributions to services and service arrays for children and families. (1-12) 6) Private funding of services for children and families. (1-12) 7) Issues that affect access to services and continuum of care. (1-12) 8) Problems and concerns of mental health systems. (1-12)
